Our Founder

Susan Barr is President and Founder of Selah Synergy, consultant, speaker, and author of the upcoming book, “The Power of Virtual Leverage: Small Business Guide to Get Connected, Get Inspired, Get it Done and Get Profits!”. As the founder of Selah Synergy, Susan has been a coach and advisor to leaders in organizations of every size since 1999 on matters of strategic planning, business development, technology planning, operations efficiency, administrative productivity, leadership development and personal balance.

Prior to founding Selah Synergy, Susan spent 18 years as a highly commended senior IT executive. She was fortunate to pilot projects across a broad scope of industries (retail, catalog, internet, manufacturing, financial services, software engineering, etc) and manage every strategic function of Information Technology from (Data Center Operations, Software Development and Strategic Infrastructure) for companies such as Time/Warner, EDS/General Motors, and Eddie Bauer.

Selah Synergy

Our company began as Selah Synergy Coaching in 1999. Our name was inspired by two words which captures the essence of our core beliefs. The word “Selah”, a biblical word defined as a time of reflection, a meditative pause which we believe is essential to the success of any endeavor, personal or business. The word “Synergy” in our title was inspired by our belief that creative collaboration is essential to business success. By combining times of planning and reflection with creative collaboration, we have helped our clients experience tremendous results.

Our subsidiary, Selanova, LLC, was formed in 2008 to support the expanded mission of our company from one solely dedicated to coaching and consulting to an organization which offers a whole host of products and services for the small business and home office. Our company provides content based products, workshops, and classes to our already industry leading line of coaching and consulting programs.

It is our mission to create programs, services, tools, forums and learning environments for the independent and small business entrepreneur. Our products are of exceptionally high quality, content-rich, practically implemented and competitively priced.
